In short, any form of body modification deserves to be treated with the same amount of respect.

i think i reserve the right to be a little fucking freaked out that someone has gaping holes in various parts of their bodies that don’t usually have gaping holes in them

^ I have to agree with poochie. 

Then again I never really claim to be die hard into body modifications. I just like tattoos. (which i get probably makes me sound like a hypocrite. but whatever.lol)

I can respect a person who takes the time and care to put into their body mods - however I will say that some of them look downright fucking unappealing or ugly to me (if not only impractical) - and I will be inclined to initially judge someone based on their mods if they seem to follow the extreme douchey attitude I’ve witnessed a lot of the mod community have.

Wow -_____- so fucking judgmental.  Why should you give a fuck if a person has gaping holes in their body?  It’s THEIR body!  Not yours!  If you don’t like it, then don’t look at them!  If you don’t find it attractive, then don’t date a heavily modified individual!  Bam, problem solved.

I understand people have their preferences in who they are attracted to, I get that.  Obviously, I have preferences as well.  But I’m not going to sit here and bash a person or judge them based on they have crafted and modified their body.  That is just fucking nonsense and needs to be controlled more within the body modification community.  If you are making these judgments about a person’s appearance, you are no better than the fucking assholes that discriminate against us and how we choose to be comfortable in our own skin.  

FUCK.  WHY?  CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT I’M NOT GETTING HERE?  PLEASE?
